THE THREAD THROUGH THE WORK

From a question
to something
you can test.

Christopher Hill founded MaxwellX to give frontier questions a place to become instruments, experiments and systems.

Waveform Atlas extends that approach into a source-linked investigation of how waves and quantum states change. Its starting point was a discussion of Roger Penrose’s proposal, followed by a sequence of practical questions about stretching, compression, interference and other interactions.

Hill’s role is to set the questions, connect fields, establish research priorities and develop testable directions. His approach emphasizes scientific synthesis, controlled comparisons and clear evidence before broader conclusions.

Different systems.
A connected curiosity.

These are separate research programs. Shared questions about geometry, energy and measurement do not establish a single underlying mechanism or demonstrated technology.

HOW THE ATLAS CONTRIBUTES

The connection
is a research
question.

The same words can hide different physics. Compression in a gas, compression of a laser pulse and squeezing of a quantum state all involve something becoming smaller, yet their mechanisms and tests differ.

The atlas makes those distinctions visible. It connects the intuition to an operational definition, a mathematical model, an original source, an experiment and a next question.

The aim is a body of work that others can inspect, challenge and improve.
